Baseball Recap: Foothill Comes Up Short

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Foothill was a bit more limited in their game on Wednesday. They came up short against the Berkeley Yellowjackets, falling 11-2. The contest marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Aiden Tavares was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run.

Foothill now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Berkeley, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Foothill will challenge Acalanes at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons are facing the Dons at the right time seeing as the Dons are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Berkeley, they will take on James Logan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
