Genoa Christian Academy extended their home winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Jackson Kirura. Genoa Christian Academy were the clear victor by a 71-50 margin over the Rochester Academy Racers on Thursday with plenty of help from Kirura, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 14 rebounds. His afternoon made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.

Another player making a difference was Cody Griffey, who posted no points along with ten blocks and five assists. That's the most assists he has posted since back in December of 2023.

Genoa Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That somehow still isn't as good as their 15-4 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 25.7 points. This is the second loss in a row for Rochester Academy and nudges their season record down to 3-16.

Looking ahead, Genoa Christian Academy and Columbia County Christian will face off at 8:45 a.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played. Rochester Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
