Basketball Game Preview: James Lick Comets vs. Prospect Panthers + How To Watch

James Lick hasn't had much luck against Prospect recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Comets will be home for the holidays to greet the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. James Lick has given up an average of 62.7 points per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Saturday, James Lick took a blow against Pioneer, falling 90-20. The game marked the Comets' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Prospect ended up a good deal behind Artesia on Saturday and lost 53-37.

Prospect's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for James Lick, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

James Lick might still be hurting after the 70-45 loss they got from Prospect when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Can the Comets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
