Hector extended their winning streak to nine on Tuesday, bumping them up to 12-2. Everything went their way against the Westside Rebels as they made off with a 12-2 victory. Considering the Wildcats have won 11 matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Sarena Myers made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four stolen bases, four runs, and five RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2025.
In other batting news, Abigail Dodson and Addison Campbell did most of the damage at the plate: Dodson went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and three runs, while Campbell went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Dodson is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last eight games she's played. Mylah Myers was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

As for Westside, they dropped their record down to 5-12 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.
On Westside's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ayla Highfill, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.
