Baseball Recap: Glens Falls Gets the Win

Glens Falls never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Schuylerville Horses by a score of 4-0. The victory continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Horses: they've now won three in a row.

Brayden Bennett made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 11 over six innings pitched. Those 11 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Jacob Hubert was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Aidan Perry, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.

Glens Falls' win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Schuylerville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.

Glens Falls will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Horses: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
