Softball Recap: Shelbyville Central Golden Eagles vs. Warren County Pioneers & Lady Pioneers
Shelbyville Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warren County Pioneers & Lady Pioneers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Shelbyville Central of the 15-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April.
Shelbyville Central saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bailey Dunn, who went 2-for-2 with a double and an RBI.
Shelbyville Central's loss dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Warren County, their win bumped their record up to 6-13.
