Colonel Richardson barely beat Queen Anne's County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Colonels were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Lions on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Colonels, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The team relied heavily on Derrick Mitchell, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. John Beaven also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Colonel Richardson's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-5. As for Queen Anne's County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Colonel Richardson will square off against Washington at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Colonels are facing the Jaguars at the right time seeing as the Jaguars are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Queen Anne's County, they will face off against Bennett at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
