Kutztown has gone 8-2 against Wyomissing recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Cougars will look to defend their home field against the Spartans at 6:15 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Kutztown's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They put the hurt on Tulpehocken with a sharp 7-0 victory. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Wyomissing waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Panthers 10-3.

Ryan Graham made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. He was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. That triple was his first of the season.

In other pitching news, Chase Bailey tossed a big game, tossing six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits.

Back at the plate, Teddy White was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Noah Rauenzahn was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three runs and one stolen base.

Wyomissing's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Kutztown, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.

Everything went Kutztown's way against Wyomissing in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Kutztown made off with a 10-0 victory. Do the Cougars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Spartans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
