Basketball Recap: North Andrew Comes Up Short

North Andrew lost against West Platte back in December of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The North Andrew Cardinals took a 61-45 bruising from the West Platte Bluejays.

North Andrew's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for West Platte, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Andrew will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on King City at 7:30 p.m. on February 4th. King City knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully North Andrew likes a good challenge. As for West Platte, they will take on South Holt at 7:30 p.m. on February 3rd.
