Baseball Recap: Little River Academy Comes Up Short

Little River Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 4-1 to the Milano Eagles.

Slade Schwake was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases.

Little River Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Milano, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Coming up, Little River Academy will challenge Gatesville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Milano, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 9-1 loss against Rosebud-Lott on the 22nd.
