Baseball Recap: First Assembly Christian Takes a Loss

First Assembly Christian came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 19-3 to the Westbrook Christian Warriors.

First Assembly Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was William Lee, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

First Assembly Christian has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for Westbrook Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. First Assembly Christian will welcome Niles Notre Dame at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Westbrook Christian, they will take on John Carroll Catholic at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
