Volleyball Recap: Alisal Comes Up Short

Alisal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Carmel Padres. While the Trojans didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Padres 25-19 in the first set.

Alisal started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-23, 25-12, 25-21.

Alisal's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Carmel, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-11.

Alisal does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Carmel, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Monterey on the 6th.
