Roncalli is a perfect 6-0 against Heritage Christian since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Royals will take on the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Roncalli's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so Heritage Christian's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Saturday, Roncalli didn't have quite enough to beat Harrison and fell 6-5.

Bennie Leffler made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI.

Meanwhile, Heritage Christian fell victim to Oak Hill and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 10-0 to the Golden Eagles, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Eagles' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Roncalli's loss dropped their record down to 20-6. As for Heritage Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-13.

Heritage Christian's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Tuesday. Roncalli has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.7 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Heritage Christian, though, as they've been averaging only 3.6 strikeouts. Will Roncalli keep running through batters, or will the Eagles buck the trend?

Roncalli beat Heritage Christian 6-1 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Royals since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
