Baseball Recap: Crystal Springs Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Crystal Springs's offense. They came up short against the Seminary Bulldogs on Friday, falling 18-0. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Crystal Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Seminary, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crystal Springs will host Natchez at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Natchez has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.05 runs per game on average), something Crystal Springs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Seminary, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against West Jones at 12:00 p.m.
