Mid Valley is 10-0 against Dunmore since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Mid Valley Spartans will welcome the Dunmore Bucks at 6:45 p.m. Mid Valley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.5 points per game this season.

Mid Valley is headed into Thursday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Monday. The matchup between them and Holy Cross didn't end well, with Mid Valley falling 78-62. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 251st, while the Crusaders are ranked 23rd).

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Kaleik Cook, who went 8 of 12 on his way to 17 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jakob Lesher, who went 8 of 9 on his way to 17 points and four steals.

Meanwhile, Dunmore was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 55-51 to Riverside. The contest marked the Bucks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Dunmore's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-3. As for Mid Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.

Mid Valley strolled past Dunmore in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a score of 51-35. Does Mid Valley have another victory up their sleeve, or will Dunmore turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
