Basketball Recap: Spring Creek Comes Up Short

Spring Creek was the 65-45 winner over All City Leadership Academy when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Spring Creek took a 63-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the All City Leadership Academy Eagles on Tuesday. While Spring Creek didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating All City Leadership Academy 19-12 in the first quarter.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead All City Leadership Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sebastian Parkulab, who went 11 of 23 en route to 27 points. The game was Parkulab's 14th in a row with at least 18 points. Franklyn Tejeda was another key player, going 8 for 14 to rack up 19 points.

Spring Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 11-3. As for All City Leadership Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5.

As of now, neither Spring Creek nor All City Leadership Academy have any future games scheduled.
