Basketball Recap: Chardon Takes a Loss

Chardon was the 85-64 winner over Kenston when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Chardon Hilltoppers lost to the Kenston Bombers on the road by a 72-54 margin on Tuesday.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Kenston to victory, but perhaps none more so than Eli Ellis, who went 7 of 8 en route to 15 points. Luke Stupica was another key player, as he made all 5 shots he took racking up 12 points.

Chardon has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season. As for Kenston, their record now sits at 7-10.

Chardon has already played their next game (against South), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Kenston will head out on the road to challenge North at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Kenston is facing North at the right time seeing as North is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
