Recap: Sunshine Bible Academy vs. Iroquois

Sunshine Bible Academy won the last time they met up with Iroquois, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Sunshine Bible Academy steamrollered Iroquois 55-14. Sunshine Bible Academy were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

Sunshine Bible Academy started the contest off right with 28 first-half points. Meanwhile, Iroquois couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 28-0 heading into the break. The Sunshine Bible Academy defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the game.

Freshman Joel Underwood was the offensive standout of the match for Sunshine Bible Academy, as he rushed for 169 yards and 3 touchdowns. Junior Teigan Clark was in the mix, too, providing Sunshine Bible Academy with 2 touchdowns. The win bumped their record up to 3-1. Iroquois are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5.

Sunshine Bible Academy will stay at home next week against Sully Buttes at 4:00 PM. The team will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each match than the last. Iroquois will have some time to rest before their next matchup, which is against Faulkton in two weeks at 7:00 PM.
