Volleyball Recap: Catholic - N.I. Takes a Loss

Catholic - N.I. was the 2-1 winner over St. Scholastica when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell just short of the Doves by a score of 2-1 on Friday.

MacKenzie Batiste paced Catholic - N.I.'s offense, picking up six kills. Batiste got some help from Renee Frederick and her nine assists.

Catholic - N.I.'s defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for St. Scholastica, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.

Catholic - N.I. will square off against St. Mary's Dominican at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for St. Scholastica, they will welcome Mt. Carmel at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
