Volleyball Recap: Crane Snags Ninth Victory in Last Ten Games

Crane saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Stayton Eagles, sneaking past 2-1.

Kamryn Dunten paced Crane's offense, picking up 16 kills. Dunten got some help from Kendal Nichols and her 30 assists. Anita Peila and Ava Bowen kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Crane is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3-1 record this season. As for Stayton, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.

Crane has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Cascade Christian on the 4th. As for Stayton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against North Marion on the 6th.
