Concordia Lutheran came into Tuesday's game looking for another win against Pantego Christian, but Evan Jackson wouldn't allow it. The Panthers walked away with a 57-49 victory over the Crusaders on Tuesday for which the team can thank Jackson, who went 8-for-14 en route to 27 points along with seven boards and six assists. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 45.9% shooting accuracy.
The team also got some help courtesy of Aj Brooks, who posted seven points. Brooks is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season.
Despite the loss, Concordia Lutheran saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Robbie Chappell dropped a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds. Chase Petro also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.
