Soccer Recap: South Lyon East Takes a Loss + How To Watch

South Lyon East managed to keep up with Salem until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Cougars lost 5-0 to the Rocks. While losing is never fun, South Lyon East can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 230th, while Salem are ranked 56th).

South Lyon East now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Salem, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2-1 record this season.

South Lyon East wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 6-3 loss against Novi on the 28th. As for Salem, they have also already played their next contest, an 8-0 victory against Howell on the 4th.
