Basketball Recap: Crescenta Valley Find Success

Crescenta Valley won the last time they faced Upland, and Vaughn Zargarian did his part to make sure it happened again. The Crescenta Valley Falcons took down the Upland Highlanders/Scots 58-43 on Friday thanks in part to Zargarian, who posted 30 points and six rebounds. That makes it 14 consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Crescenta Valley's points.

Crescenta Valley's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Upland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

Crescenta Valley will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Burroughs at 6:45 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Upland, they and La Salle will face off at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
