Volleyball Recap: Platte Valley Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Platte Valley managed to slip by University the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Broncos came up short against the Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Platte Valley took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-19, 25-21.

Bryla Bunting paced Platte Valley's offense, picking up seven kills. Bunting got some help from Megan Hunt and her 21 assists. Addy Grossnickle and Delaney Uyemura kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Platte Valley now has a losing record of 6-7. As for University, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Coming up, Platte Valley will face off against Windsor Charter Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for University, they will take on Montrose at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
