Baseball Game Preview: Grayson Christian vs. Honey Grove Warriors

Grayson Christian will square off against the Honey Grove Warriors at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Grayson Christian's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Savoy with a sharp 15-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Grayson Christian.

Grayson Christian let Landon Richardson and Gabe Adams run wild. Richardson scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2, while Adams scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in both of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Jacob Earles, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in both of his plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Honey Grove beat Prairiland 8-3 on Thursday.

Levi Beavers was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one double. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Lane Foster, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Grayson Christian's record now sits at 2-0. As for Honey Grove, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
