Baseball Recap: Bartlett Hawks vs. Prospect Knights
After flying high against Elgin last Wednesday, Bartlett came back down to earth. The Bartlett Hawks lost 8-1 to the Prospect Knights on Saturday. Bartlett was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Prospect apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2017.
Vince Kamarat made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-1 with a home run.
Bartlett's defeat dropped their record down to 15-7-1. As for Prospect, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bartlett will take on Aurora East at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Bartlett's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Aurora East has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road. Prospect will take on Rolling Meadows at 4:45 p.m. on Monday.
