Softball Recap: La Grange's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

It was a good run, but La Grange unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 7-4 to the Giddings Buffaloes. The Leopards were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Buffaloes earlier this season, when they won 4-3.

Madi Adams made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. Landri Hernandez was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

La Grange's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Giddings, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Coming up, La Grange will take on Caldwell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Leopards' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hornets have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season. As for Giddings, they will square off against Bellville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
