Basketball Recap: The Williams School Comes Up Short

The Williams School lost against Rocky Hill Country Day back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Williams School Blues took a hard 37-19 fall against the Rocky Hill Country Day Mariners.

Lily Sokol was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds for Rocky Hill Country Day. Sokol's afternoon made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Vyannis Moronta, who posted seven points and four steals.

The Williams School's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Rocky Hill Country Day, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. The Williams School will challenge Wooster at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Rocky Hill Country Day, they will head out to challenge Academy at Penguin Hall at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
