Volleyball Recap: Lillian Hayden's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Union over Brookville + How To Watch

Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Brookville Raiders, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-15, 25-15.

Union's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lillian Hayden, who had 18 digs. Hayden is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Kriebel, who had seven digs and seven assists.

Union's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Brookville, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Coming up, Union will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Moniteau at 7:00 p.m. As for Brookville, they are taking a road trip to square off against Clarion Area at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
