Volleyball Game Preview: Augusta Beavers vs. Eleva-Strum Cardinals

The Augusta Beavers will head out on the road to challenge the Eleva-Strum Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Augusta is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

On Thursday, Augusta came up short against Cochrane-Fountain City and fell 3-1.

While Augusta ultimately came up short, they really made Cochrane-Fountain City work, particularly in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-19, 20-25, 28-26.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Saturday Eleva-Strum sidestepped Whitehall for a 2-1 win. The victory continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Norse: they've now won five in a row.

Augusta's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Eleva-Strum, their win bumped their record up to 18-6.

Augusta suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Eleva-Strum when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Beavers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
