Meanwhile, Timpanogos gave up the first runs on Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over Mountain View. The win was familiar territory for the Timberwolves, who have now won three contests in a row.
The team relied heavily on Isacc Miller, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Dylan Partridge, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.
West Jordan pushed their record up to 15-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Timpanogos, their victory bumped their record up to 17-6.
Monday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. West Jordan hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .383. However, it's not like Timpanogos struggles in that department as they've averaged .370. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
