Softball Recap: Rialto Knights vs. Santa Ana Valley Falcons
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Rialto walked away with it. They blew past the Santa Ana Valley Falcons 18-1 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.
Rylee Estrada made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Estrada was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with seven RBI, three runs, and two doubles. That's the most hits she has posted since back in February.

In other batting news, Rialto got a massive performance out of Johanna Zamano, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two triples, four RBI, and one double. Those four RBI gave Zamano a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Delilah Munoz, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Rialto's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-15. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Santa Ana Valley, the defeat snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 16-4 record.
Looking ahead, Rialto will face off against Silverado at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday. The Hawks will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight. Santa Ana Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
