Basketball Recap: White Mountain Takes a Loss

White Mountain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 69-65 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hogarth Kingeekuk Sr. Memorial Huskies. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (64), the Wolves still had to take the loss.

When it comes to explaining why White Mountain lost, don't look at Kaden Adams. Despite the final result, he posted 35 points. That was a full 53.8% of White Mountain's points, marking the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Keanan Barr was another key player, putting up 12 points.

White Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Hogarth Kingeekuk Sr. Memorial, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

As of now, neither White Mountain nor Hogarth Kingeekuk Sr. Memorial have any future games scheduled.
