Baseball Game Preview: North Olmsted Eagles vs. Rocky River Pirates

For the second straight game, North Olmsted will face off against Rocky River. The Eagles will face off against the Pirates at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Olmsted has given up an average of 6.9 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

North Olmsted lost 13-1 to Rocky River on Monday. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

North Olmsted saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Zatta, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Rocky River has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for North Olmsted, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.
