Creekside owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Thursday. They walked away with a 5-0 victory over the Bishop Kenny Crusaders. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Crusaders: they've now won four in a row.

Creekside's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Schlegel, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Creekside's win bumped their record up to 16-8. As for Bishop Kenny, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine contests. That's still a better percentage than their 5-19 record this season.

Creekside will venture away from home to challenge DeLand at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bishop Kenny, they will challenge Menendez at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
