Basketball Recap: Springfield Comes Up Short

Springfield was the 34-33 winner over Penncrest when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Springfield Cougars received a blow on Saturday as they fell 54-37 to the Penncrest Lions.

Springfield's loss dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Penncrest, their win bumped their record up to 21-4.

Springfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Penncrest, they will take on Marple Newtown at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
