Volleyball Game Preview: Lenox Memorial Millionaires vs. Monument Mountain Spartans + How To Watch

Lenox Memorial has gone 9-1 against Monument Mountain recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Millionaires will take on the Spartans at 6:00 p.m. Monument Mountain took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Lenox Memorial, who comes in off a win.

Lenox Memorial proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by three) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Lee 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Millionaires have posted since September 11th.

Lenox Memorial had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 20-25, 25-15, 26-24, 15-1.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lenox Memorial to victory, but perhaps none more so than Grace Julieano, who had 26 digs, three aces, and one block. Those 26 digs gave Julieano a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Barenski, who had 40 digs and two aces.

Meanwhile, Monument Mountain came up short against Granby on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Lenox Memorial's victory bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Monument Mountain, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-6.

Lenox Memorial took their win against Monument Mountain in their previous matchup back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Millionaires since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
