Volleyball Recap: Newark Catholic Beats Zanesville for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Newark Catholic came tearing into Thursday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Zanesville Blue Devils 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Green Wave, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Newark Catholic was: they took every set by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-9, 25-10.

Newark Catholic can attribute much of their success to Veronica Bailey, who had nine digs and one assist.
