Covington Catholic is a perfect 10-0 against Holy Cross since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Colonels will host the Indians at 4:30 p.m.

Covington Catholic is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 11 runs on Saturday, they were much more limited against Highlands on Monday. They lost 10-1 to the Bluebirds. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Colonels have suffered since April 8th.

Holy Cross' found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Bishop Brossart on Monday. The Indians sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over Ludlow. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Brady Neff, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of David Wilson, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Holy Cross pushed their record up to 9-15 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Covington Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-10.

Everything went Covington Catholic's way against Holy Cross in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Covington Catholic made off with a 6-0 win. Do the Colonels have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Indians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
