Baseball Recap: Columbian Comes Up Short

Columbian lost against Shelby back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Tornadoes fell 4-1 to the Whippets. The Tornadoes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Columbian's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Shelby, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Columbian is taking a road trip to square off against Seneca East at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tornadoes are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Shelby, they will challenge Pleasant at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
