Stilwell skates past Checotah with ease

You can't lose the contest if you win every quarter, and that was precisely the Stilwell Indians's strategy against the Checotah Wildcats on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Stilwell blew Checotah out of the water with a 79-27 final score. With Stilwell ahead 35-14 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Stilwell to victory, but perhaps none more so than Prairie Holmes, who scored 13 points along with six steals and five rebounds. Holmes is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Kinley Johnson was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five assists and five steals.

Stilwell has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Checotah, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Stilwell will head out on the road to face off against Idabel at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Idabel is coming into the game hot, having won their last 11 games. As for Checotah, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Eufaula at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Eufaula is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
