Wills Point's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jax King, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 15 boards. King continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Eli Rice, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 13 rebounds.

Wills Point's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Buffalo, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Wills Point won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Grand Saline at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Buffalo, they will have a chance to keep the ball rolling against Henderson at 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday following yesterday's win.
