There's no place like home for Somerset Academy Losee, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Everything went their way against the Sunrise Mountain Miners on Wednesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Lions were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Miners, so the Lions were just returning the favor.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-17, 25-15.

Ava Jones-Deleon paced Somerset Academy Losee's offense, picking up six kills. Jones-Deleon really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 13. She also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Shelby Graham, racking up seven apiece.

Somerset Academy Losee's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Sunrise Mountain, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Somerset Academy Losee will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mojave at 6:00 p.m. on the 29th.
