Hall suffers sixth straight loss on the road

Recap: Hall Red Devils vs. Bureau Valley Storm

The Hall Red Devils were the 59-48 winner over the Bureau Valley Storm when they last played one another on January 8th, but their luck changed this time around. Hall took a 60-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bureau Valley on Monday. Hall has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kate Salisbury was her usual excellent self, scoring 24 points along with eight rebounds and two steals for Bureau Valley. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Salisbury has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lynzie Cady, who scored six points along with five assists and two steals.

Hall's defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Bureau Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 13-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hall will square off against Kewanee at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kewanee has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Bureau Valley, they will head out on the road to take on Princeville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
