Basketball Game Preview: DeWitt Dragons vs. Drew Central Pirates

DeWitt is 0-8 against Drew Central since November of 2017 but things could change on Thursday. The DeWitt Dragons will venture away from home to square off against the Drew Central Pirates at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 57-29, which was the final score in DeWitt's tilt against Rison on Tuesday. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Drew Central was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 43-39 to McGehee.

Drew Central's loss dropped their record down to 20-5. As for DeWitt, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-13.

DeWitt came up short against Drew Central when the teams last played back in January, falling 41-30. Can DeWitt avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
