Basketball Recap: Fenton Comes Up Short

If Fenton was feeling good fresh off their 90-53 takedown of Clio last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Fenton Tigers received a blow on Saturday as they fell 80-66 to the Holly Bronchos. The game was a 34-34 toss-up at halftime, but the Tigers couldn't quite close it out.

Fenton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Holly, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-12.

Fenton and Holly could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. Fenton will take on Kearsley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 285 places (439 vs. 154). Meanwhile, Holly (ranked 505th) will meet Flushing (ranked 222nd) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
