            The Tri-Township Tigers will head out to  challenge the Culver Academies Eagles  at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Tri-Township is coming into the  matchup on  a  five-game losing streak.
Tri-Township's last matchup with Morgan Township could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's  contest on Monday. The Tigers came up short against  the Cherokees, falling  11-4.
 Tri-Township saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Cody Vernich, who  went 1-for-4 with one  home run and two  RBI.  Donaven Witas also deserves some recognition as  he  hit his first  double of the season.
Meanwhile,  after a string of ten wins, Culver Academies' good fortune finally ran out  on Tuesday. They fell just short of Plymouth by a score of  17-16. The pitching woes were  uncharacteristic for the Eagles, who until this  game were averaging 3.75  runs allowed.
  Trey Schumacher was cooking despite his team's loss,   getting on base  in five of his six plate appearances with one  home run, four  runs,  and two  stolen bases. He has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Ainsley Ritchie, who  went 3-for-4 with one  double.
 Tri-Township's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Culver Academies, the  defeat was their first  on the road , dropping their record down to 10-2.
 The pitchers for both teams better look sharp  on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Tri-Township has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 3.9  stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Culver Academies struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  an even more impressive 4.3  stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
