Basketball Recap: Marion County Comes Up Short

Marion County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 62-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Hardin Trojans. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2021.

Marion County's loss dropped their record down to 4-11-1. As for North Hardin, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-13 record this season.

Marion County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 59-43 defeat against Taylor County on the 31st. North Hardin has also already played their next contest, a 72-39 loss against Elizabethtown on the 1st.
