Volleyball Recap: Liberty HomeSchool Alliance Takes a Loss

Liberty HomeSchool Alliance had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Newton HomeSchool Mustangs by a score of 2-1. The Arrows were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Newton HomeSchool found their leader in sophomore Chloe Hoelscher, who had 19 digs. Hoelscher is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last four games she's played dating back to last season.

Liberty HomeSchool Alliance does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Newton HomeSchool, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Chanute Christian on the 16th.
