Softball Recap: Perry Meridian Takes a Loss

Perry Meridian fell victim to Whiteland and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 1-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 10-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Adriana Chesser spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on seven hits.

Perry Meridian has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season. As for Whiteland, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Warriors beat Perry Meridian by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday.
